I met some representatives from ASF at the AWP Conference in April, including Owen Egerton, who just totally charmed me and convinced me to subscribe to the mag. Wow. It is really something. The Summer 2010 issue blew me away. Lucy Corin’s “Madmen” and Dawn Ryan’s “My Sister’s Babies” are rare and original works. But my favorite piece was probably “The Wooly Mammoth Carried Me Home,” by Ted Thompson. No regrets.
