Sad news from Zone 3, A Literary Journal came in the mail today.
Sadly, my work isn't in here.
I submitted in October, for those of you who are curious to know how long it takes to hear back from Zone 3.
Prose Editor Amy Wright thanked me for sending my work and giving them the chance to consider it, but they are not keeping my short-short series, “Merely, etc” for publication.
The Austin Peay University lit mag has one of the nicest rejection letters I’ve received; and it even looks as though Ms. Wright (or an intern) actually signed it in ink.
Now, where do I send it?

I love it when you get nice rejection letters, obviously I love it more when they are actually acceptances! Still, nice to hear about another editor who has the time to be kind. Good luck placing it elsewhere
